From Critic to Admirer: Canada-Based Nigerian Says Orji Kalu Changed His View of APC
A Canada-based Nigerian, Bashorun O. Adegbulugbe, has revealed that his perception of the All Progressives Congress (APC) changed after interacting with some of the party’s leaders, particularly Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, and observing the work of Central Bank Governor Olayemi Cardoso, Finance Minister Wale Edun and Information Minister Idris Malagi.
Adegbulugbe said he previously regarded the APC as a party filled with “demons, evil and bad politicians,” but has since come to believe that every political party has both good and bad members. Although he maintained his criticism of some APC figures, he commended Kalu, Cardoso, Edun and Malagi for what he described as their dedication to nation-building and efforts to improve Nigeria.
He also advised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to surround himself with credible and competent performers if re-elected in 2027, stressing that the success of any administration depends largely on the quality of individuals serving around the President.
