Go After Killers of Onuwaje, Chief Emami Tasks Security Agencies Urges Community to Remain Calm
A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Delta State, Chief Ayirimi Emami, has reacted to the weekend killing of Emiko Onuwaje in Warri South-West Local Government Area of the state.
In a statement issued on Monday, shortly after paying a condolence visit to the bereaved family, the Ologbotsere of Warri Kingdom called on security agencies to go after the perpetrators responsible for the killing of Mr Emiko Onuwaje.
Condemning the murder, Chief Emami described the incident as regrettable, lamenting that brothers could resort to inhumane acts over minor differences.
He also urged indigenes of Ugborodo to close ranks and flush out criminal elements from the community, stressing that efforts aimed at fast-tracking the development of Ugborodo Federated Communities would not be derailed by individuals with criminal tendencies.
