Nasarawa Govt. ‘ll key into Eden organic moringa fertilizer to boost food production—– Youth and Sports Commissioner

Nasarawa State government has expressed it’s willingness to key into the use of Eden moringa organic fertizer to boost food production and ensure bumper harvest.
State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Yakubu Kwanga stated this in Lafia when he hosted members of Middle Belt Youth Development Organization (MBYDEVO) in his office.
Recalled that the middle Belt Youth Development Organization MBYDEVO were in the commissioner”s office to present five bags of fifty kilograms of eden organic Morgan fertilizer donated by Eden e-Moringa Productions and Marketers Limited, to the state governor, Abdullahi Sule .
According to Kwanta, the donation of the fertilizer by the Managing Director and CEO of Eden e-Moringa Productions and Marketers Limited, Dr. Ashimashiga Akoloaga was in line with the governor Sule policy on agriculture anchored on food production and sufficiency.
I want to use the opportunity and rare moment provided by the middle Belt Youth Development Organization in collaboration with e- moringa to call on all the youth in Nasarawa state to partner with.(MBYDEVO) to grow and support what the NGO are doing by getting some bags.
” In the coming days His Excellency, governor Abdullahi Sule will be flagging off or commissioning the sales of this fertiliser in Nasarawa state
“Distinguished ladies and gentlemen, on behalf of his excellency the governor of Nasarawa state we want to acknowledge the receipt of 5 bags of organic Moringa fertiliser. donated to the state governor.
“This gesture signifies your commitment to the youth development in Nasarawa state, this signifies that the youth should not only focus on the white collar job but go back to the farm,. Your deliberate attempt to providing this to his excellency through the ministry of youth and sport development is a clear indication to partner His Excellency, governor Abdullahi Sule on agriculture.
” I’m aware that there is a company that is partnering this NGO that will give them supply in mass quantity who are their agent in Nasarawa state, for us in the ministry we will create the platform so that the middle belt youth will take advantage of the product so that every house, every village , every community will get this Moringa fertiliser,
why I stop whatever I was doing to talk to you is to demonstrate the government commitment to this forum, we are not taking this gesture on behalf of the governor for granted and I will communicate to you when the governor will be ready to flag off this by the grace of God”, the commissioner declared.
While intimating members of the middle Belt Youth Development Organization MBYDEVO that the permanent Secretary has been directed to write officially to the ministry of Agriculture to get the youth in the state involve in the activities of with.(MBYDEVO)
“I have directed the permanent secretary to write officially to the ministry of agriculture for the readiness of youth to go back to the farm as there is a very strong youth forum who are ready to make our youth farm policy viable so as to benefit from the dividend of agriculture.
Governor Sule is not relenting in ensuring that the state witness a bumper harvest this year”, Kwanta stated.
Earlier at the presentation of the product to the commissioner for onward delivering to the governor, president of with.(MBYDEVO), Chris Aba explained that the organic fertilizer was suitable for all crops.
He said the product was fashioned to replace lost soil fertility, increase yields amongst other benefits urging farmers in the middle Belt especially Nasarawa state to take advantage of the product to grow food in the region.
