NEWMAP-EIB Project to Deepen Partnership with Nasarawa Government

The Nasarawa State Coordinator of the Nigeria Erosion and Watershed Management Project–European Investment Bank (NEWMAP-EIB), Dr. Muhammad Ismail, has reaffirmed the organization’s commitment to strengthening its collaboration with the Nasarawa State Government.
Dr. Ismail made this known on Wednesday during a courtesy visit to the state Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice, Barr. Isaac Danladi. He emphasized the project’s determination to further consolidate ties of cooperation and mutual trust with the government.
Acknowledging the cordial relationship that already exists, Dr. Ismail noted that such bonds of friendship would continue to be nurtured and sustained.
“This visit was aimed at fostering stronger personal and professional ties, as well as exploring areas of collaboration that will further advance ongoing development initiatives in the state,” he said.
The Project Coordinator commended Barr. Danladi for his outstanding leadership and unwavering commitment to justice and good governance, noting that his dedication has helped create an enabling environment for projects like NEWMAP-EIB to flourish.
In his response, Barr. Danladi expressed appreciation for the visit, describing it as a mark of friendship and mutual respect. He reaffirmed his ministry’s support for initiatives that promote sustainable development and assured continuous partnership in driving projects that directly benefit the people of Nasarawa State.
