NUJ FCT Council Felicitates Former Chairman, Malachi Uzendu, on His Call to Bar

The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Council, has congratulated its former Chairman, Barrister Malachi Uzendu, on his successful completion of the Nigerian Law School program and his formal call to the Bar.

A statement released by Comrade Jide Oyekunle ,Secretary of the Council
on Friday in Abuja,described Uzendu’s achievement as a remarkable milestone, reflecting his resilience, determination, and unwavering pursuit of professional excellence.

The NUJ FCT Council noted that his transition into the legal profession is not only a personal triumph but also a source of pride for the entire journalism community.

According to the Council, Uzendu has, over the years, exemplified commitment to excellence in journalism, leadership, and service to humanity. His latest accomplishment, it added, further underscores his versatility and passion for lifelong learning.

“Barrister Uzendu has always embodied the values of fairness, justice, and integrity. We are confident that these principles, which defined his career as a journalist and union leader, will continue to guide his practice in law,” the statement partly read.

The Council wished him continued success, wisdom, and fulfillment in his legal journey while expressing hope that his contributions will strengthen both the media and justice sectors in Nigeria.
