Ohafia youths turn courage into action, rescue abducted girls and apprehend suspects.

Bandits reportedly kidnapped two young girls and demanded a ransom of ₦20 million, with ₦10 million placed on each victim.
What followed has left many Nigerians astonished.
Rather than waiting for the governor, politicians, or any outside intervention, the youths of Ohafia mobilized themselves, ventured into the bush, rescued the two girls, and reportedly apprehended some of the suspected kidnappers.
Most importantly, the girls were returned home alive and unharmed.
Surprisingly, the incident did not receive major national media attention. Yet, it remains one of those stories that highlights the courage, unity, and determination that still thrive within local communities.
The people of Ohafia stood up for their own at a critical moment.
Whether this approach should become a model for communities facing rising insecurity is a discussion Nigerians must continue to have.
One thing, however, is clear: the bravery displayed by the youths of Ohafia is something many people will remember for a long time.
