Prof. Elijah Ojochonu Okpanachi to Deliver FULafia’s 32nd Inaugural Lecture September 23

Professor Elijah Ojochonu Okpanachi, a distinguished scholar in social and political philosophy from the Department of Philosophy, Faculty of Arts, Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), is set to deliver the institution’s 32nd inaugural lecture.
The lecture, scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, 2025, was officially announced in an invitation letter issued by the esteemed academic.
Titled “The Paradox of Unsocial Sociability of Man: The Roots of Terrorism, Banditry and Kidnapping in Nigeria,” the lecture will take place at 2:00 p.m. in the MIS Multi-purpose Hall, Permanent Site Campus, Lafia.

The lecture, marking an important academic milestone, is expected to draw dignitaries, scholars, and guests from diverse backgrounds in recognition of Professor Okpanachi’s scholarly contributions.
