Promotion of Child Education: Governor Sule Bags Platinum Performance Award

Nasarawa State Governor, Abdullahi A. Sule, has been conferred with the prestigious Platinum Award and recognized as Education Ambassador for his outstanding contributions to the promotion of child education.
According to a statement issued by his Chief Press Secretary, Ibrahim Adra, and made available to City Post in Lafia on Wednesday, the honour was bestowed on Governor Sule by Independent Newspaper.
The newspaper cited the governor’s “investment, advocacy, and promotion of child education in Nasarawa State, which resonate across the country.”The statement further revealed that in a letter notifying the governor of the award, Independent Newspaper remarked that, “If Sir Ahmadu Bello were to look back from his grave, he would no doubt be proud of Governor Abdullahi Sule for sustaining the legacy of free primary education.”
Governor Sule is scheduled to be honoured at the Platinum Jubilee Ceremony of Free Universal Primary Education in Nigeria, organized by the reputable news outlet. The event is slated for Thursday, October 9, 2025, at Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos.
The governor, in his reaction, expressed appreciation to Daily Independent for acknowledging his administration’s commitment to transforming the education sector through substantial budgetary allocation, innovation, and effective supervision.
Governor Sule dedicated the award to the people of Nasarawa State, acknowledging their continuous support for his administration.
