Rev Takpatore Tasks Leaders On Sacrifice For Humanity @Easter

The Senior Pastor of the First Baptist Church Garki Abuja, Reverend Tom Takpatore wants political office holders to use their positions to alleviate the plight of common citizens.

Reverend Takpatore while leading a special prayer session during the Easter Sunday Service in Abuja said there was a great reward for leaders that make sacrifice for the betterment of humanity.

He urged Nigerians to learn from the sacrifice made by Jesus Christ and extend a hand of fellowship to their neighbors.

According to the Baptist Cleric, Christians should emulate the virtues of Jesus Christ and make sacrifices for those in need in the society.

Reverend Takpatore also urged Nigerians to remain patriotic as the resurrection of Jesus Christ would bring about the needed change in the country.

“Jesus died and rose on the third day. For us as Christains, our faith is a living faith. We have a saviour whom the grave could not hold and the empty tomb can testify that Jesus is alive.”
