Skills Acquisition: Baptist Royal Ambassadors Undergoing Procedures On Paint Production For Self Empowerment And Job Creation

Christian youths have been advised to develop keen interest in vocational training and skills Acquisition towards ensuring self reliance and reducing unemployment in the country.

The Royal Ambassador, R A Director of Amazing Grace Baptist Association, AGBA, Amb. Samuel Ojelere gave the advice during a Skills Acquisition Training on Paint Production at the ongoing 2025 Annual Camp and Maiden Jamboree of Royal Ambassadors, FCT Baptist Conference holding in Kuje Abuja.

Amb. Ojelere who expressed concern over the rate of unemployment in the country stressed the need for christian youths not to depend on educational certificates alone but rather embrace vocational and skills Acquisition.

According to him, the essence of introducing paint production in the annual camp is to enlighten participants on the art of producing paints for economic benefits.

He said the FCT Baptist Conference is committed to empowering its R A members towards making them a productive vessels in the vineyard of God.

The Resource Person on Paint Production used the opportunity to appeal to Government at all levels to establish more vocational training centers for Nigerian youths to reduce the rates of unemployment in Nigeria.

Amb. Ojelere who attributed the level of youths involvement in crimes to unemployment emphasized the need for them to always engage on positive ventures that would make them contribute to national economic development.

Some of the participants, Counsellor Peter Mobolaji and Amb. Smart Ayoola commended the FCT Baptist Conference for the skills Acquisition training.

They called for more programmes that would further empower youths in the Baptist Family towards attaining higher ground in their career.
