The Journey of Sen. Izunaso into Ph.D Maritime Law

While others sleep or diverted in their attention, the wise and persons with strong will, great visions and critical minds, continue to do unprecedented exploits, they continue to dig harder and deeper into the wild, wild, world of quenching their desire to unravel the deep-deep depths of the mystery of human existence.

Such is the story of Senator Osita Bonaventure Izunaso, OFR, member representing the people of Imo West Senatorial District, Chairman Senate Committee on Capital Market and Institutions and Chairman BOT, Kpakpando Foundation for Persons Living with Disabilities.

A man of impeccable character, a philanthropist extraordinary, and an unassuming personality who recently marked his 69th birthday in a grand style, capping it colourfully with the 20th Anniversary of his Annual Kpakpando Day Celebration, and now icing all the celebrations with a Doctorate Degree, Ph.D in Maritime Law, such a man is worth emulating and being properly celebrated.

Having had his first degree and second degree in different fields of academic endeavours, Distinguished Senator Osita Izunaso OFR, made up his mind to fulfil his long dreamt ambition by delving into the study of Law.

He eventually emerged as best graduating student in the Faculty, and as part of this memorable history, he instituted an endowment fund in the University, for Best graduating Student in the faculty. He leaped further and proceeded for LLM, consequently ended up with Ph.D Maritime Law.
