Peter Obi! A Case Study.

Democracy, an interesting system of government . It creates freedom of speech, association, ensuring that the rights of people are upheld. In this system, the full participation and involvement of the masses in governance through representatives is assured. Government of the people, for the people and by the people( Democracy)

Simply put, Democracy is a system of government where power is held by the people, either directly or through elected representatives. It’s a concept rooted in the idea of “rule by the people”, where individuals have a say in shaping their society and government. This is often manifested through free and fair elections, where citizens choose their leaders and can hold them accountable.

As true as this may seem, the truth is, Nigeria Politicians have bastardized this. Democracy exists rarely in our clime.

The masses have been barefacedly robbed and derobed of their garments that give them the power to determine who they give this power to hold in trust for them. Like a straw, light weighted, with no value, they have been treated by the politicians whose values, principles and character are nothing but abysmal in depravity, in corruption, in distrust, dishonesty and irresponsibility.

What happened recently in Delta State was just a tip of the iceberge , worse still when the likes of Ifeanyi Okowa, the immediate past governor under PDP and the running mate to Atiku in 2023 Presidential election was part of the defection. It shows how disgraceful, purposeless and lack of integrity and character majority of these politicians can be.

I have scanned through all the notable politicians in Nigeria, none except one has strong character, resillient enough to stand against political whirlwind, believe in ideology, stick out their necks and risk their political future just to stand unwavering on principles, values and shared party morals and idiosyncrasy

None except one has the value capital, the moral deposits, the independent worth, resillient enough to mobilize organic crowd of sincere supporters without latching on party credential.

They are all political jobbers with price tags on their shoulders, ready to be auctioned at the first going before the bell belows gone. They have no moral fiber, ecomonic strength, vision driven, to stand on principles, swim against currents , making waves and impacts without the lifting of any party structure or the stink and stench of corrupt money.

Peter Obi is a Politician but not in the mould and class of what Nigeria politicians have disgracefully turned into. He plays politics, just as any other person does but his kind of politics has a human face, striaght, pure, sincere, developmental, progressive, impactful laced with milk of human kindness, devoid of the highly neferious, dirty and trojan horse orchestrated politicking of an average Nigeria politician.

Since 2023 Presidential election, regardless of the outcome, highly manipulated, barefaced rigged , Peter Obi has been constant with his message, moving in same velocity, lifting souls, discovering and helping destinies and providing an impeccable opposition force.

He has proven beyond doubt that he is a “Political Whole”. An entity, capable of causing tension in any political rival camp, unaided. A moving train on the right track of political consciouness. A Political Aircraft, soaring into the altitude where victory is assured.

Like other politicians that lost in 2023 elections, Peter Obi never clash landed, still up there, navigating the stormy weather, maneuvering through the turbulence, poised and determined to land sucessfuly on the tarmac of 2027.

Nothing stoping him, nothing posing as an unsurmountable obstacle, his bravery lengendry, his determination unwavering and the vision of his political future crystal clear.

He isn’t like others, driven by stomach infrastructures, jumping from one party to another, looking for relevance and food for the stomach. His drive is his vision, his conviction and his philosophy. He looks for no relevance, he is revelance himself .Enough for his stomach and the stomach of others. He doesn’t need the bended knee politics to feed and live through life. He lives in sufficiency, having no need to fetch and carry for any political God father.

Even his rivals bow and acknowledge his dexterity, his depth and grasp on conventions, patterns and principles for socio- economic and political revolutions very strong .

2027 seems far off but the vision is unchanged. Many decamping is going on for the weak, the irrelevant, visionless, non principle and stomach driven politicians.

They would continue to move, looking for free food, money and political powers. They are at best prostitutes in Politics, the hightest bidder gets the access code. Such politicians are not to be trusted. Very chameleonic changing according to weather.

2027 is going to be a year of shocks. A year the unimaginable would happen. A year for the restoration of hope lost in 2023. It is a year of double portion of the lost years of 2023- 2024. The 2023 hope is building again. It may be invisible now, its visibility would soon be obvious before the dawn of 2027.

Until stated otherwise, Mr Peter Obi remains an iconic Politician, a case study to be researched on. His breed and specie so intractable to be understood by superficial minds. The battle for the soul of Nigeria in 2027 not a child’ play!!

Mr Peter Obi, always on the move, swift and at the nick of time to condole, congratulate, rejoice and celebrate with people without discriminating. He seems to by-locate and his sense of humility, simplicity and passion for the less privileged, the displaced etc more like late Pope Francis’ . May his spirit lead you Peter Gregory Obi come 2027.
