University of Abuja Alumni Applaud Elevation of Six Members to Professorial Rank

The University of Abuja Alumni Association has congratulated six of its distinguished members on their elevation to the rank of full professor, describing the achievement as a testament to their dedication to scholarship, research, and service to humanity.
The newly elevated professors are Prof.
Hassan Umar Sa’id, Prof. Ernest Ereke Uchenna, Prof. Gana Usman, Prof. Grace Oyiza Anivbasa, Prof. Tochukwu Okeke, and Prof. Maryanne Ohiare-Udebu.In a statement signed by the National Publicity Secretary, Dr. Rauf Olaiya Sarafadeen-Kunle, on behalf of the National President, the Association said the accomplishment was not only a personal milestone but also a source of pride to the University of Abuja community.
“This landmark achievement is a well-deserved recognition of your unwavering dedication to scholarship, research, teaching, mentorship, and service to humanity. Your elevation is a collective pride to the entire University of Abuja community and its Alumni Association,” the statement read.
The Alumni body noted that the honourees have consistently exemplified excellence and leadership in academia, adding that their new status would further strengthen their contributions to knowledge production, national development, and global scholarship.
The Association, while celebrating the professors, prayed for greater accomplishments in their careers.
