Football Academy CEO Pastor Ifeanyi Isaac confirmed on Monday.The striker’s latest effort proved crucial as his team surged from 7th to 5th position on the table, firmly entering the playoff race. “With the winning, I took the team from 7th to 5th position into the playoff race,” Pastor Isaac said while commending the forward’s impact since his arrival at the club.
Chinwendu, a product of J.K. Football Academy Abuja, has maintained impressive form in Albania, delivering consistent performances that have begun to attract interest from clubs in Belgium, Germany, and France. Scouts are said to be closely monitoring the Nigerian as the season approaches a decisive stage.
Pastor Isaac called on the Nigeria Football Federation to keep a close watch on the player’s progress, describing him as a potential long-term asset for the Super Eagles. “Nigeria Football Federation should follow him up. This guy is one of Nigeria’s long-term players for the Super Eagles,” he said.
He further noted that both the U-23 team and Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle should consider Chinwendu for future call-ups. According to Pastor Isaac, the striker was initially discovered by a Ghanaian coach, while J.K. Football Academy has continued to monitor his growth through a correspondent based in Albania who provides regular updates.
