The striker’s latest effort proved crucial as his team surged from 7th to 5th position on the table, firmly entering the playoff race. “With the winning, I took the team from 7th to 5th position into the playoff race,” Pastor Isaac said while commending the forward’s impact since his arrival at the club.
Chinwendu, a product of J.K. Pastor Isaac called on the Nigeria Football Federation to keep a close watch on the player’s progress, describing him as a potential long-term asset for the Super Eagles. “Nigeria Football Federation should follow him up. This guy is one of Nigeria’s long-term players for the Super Eagles,” he said.
He further noted that both the U-23 team and Super Eagles coach Eric Chelle should consider Chinwendu for future call-ups.
