Speaking during the inauguration ceremony held on Saturday in Gwagwalada, Abuja, the FCT Chairperson of AICC, Comrade Agnes Omoh Onoshiolema, urged the executives to remain committed to the realization of the aims and objectives of the support group.
She described the inauguration as a remarkable moment in the life of the ADC Independent Campaign Council (AICC) as a movement and the NDC as a party.
According to her, the Gwagwalada Area Council executives are not merely administrative officers but “engines of change, torchbearers of the party’s vision, and custodians of the collective aspirations of Nigerians yearning for good governance.”

She further called for unity and cooperation among members, stressing that the support group relied heavily on the commitment and encouragement of the newly inaugurated executives to drive the vision successfully.
Speaking on behalf of the newly inaugurated officials, the Chairman of AICC, Gwagwalada Area Council Chapter, Hon. Pastor Christopher Osakue, assured the leadership of the party that the executives would justify the confidence reposed in them.
Osakue stated that the executives would embark on grassroots mobilization across ward levels in Gwagwalada Area Council to ensure victory for the party during the 2027 general elections.
He also expressed concern over the prevailing security and economic challenges facing the country, emphasizing the need for Nigerians to elect credible, competent, and God-fearing leaders in future elections to address the current hardship.
The chairman appealed to members of his executive team to support him in achieving success as leader of the AICC Gwagwalada Area Council Chapter.
