Abia North Youth Groups Endorse Sen.Kalu for Re-election Call on Mr.Nto to Jettison Ambition in Support of the Abia Former Gov.and Lawmaker_

Several youth groups from across Abia North Senatorial District have called on Dr.Philip Nto, an Abia North Senatorial aspirant on the platform of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC),to jettison his ambition for the Abia North incumbent Senator,Orji Uzo Kalu.

Following an endorsement of the incumbent Senator during a gathering by the youths on Saturday at the Senatorial Zone, spokesman of the groups,Comrade Kalu Mba Kalu,said the groups had through their various considerations opted to back Sen.

Kalu for a return to the Red Chambers of the National Assembly.They warned that the youth of the area might react negatively to the former Abia Commissioner’s aspiration if he failed to withdraw from the race in the next seven hours.

On the reasons for their actions,Comrade Mba Kalu said Sen.Orji Kalu had attracted verifiable development and infrastructure to Abia North,while sustaining the APC and its teeming supporters in a State where the Party has been in opposition for many years.

While urging Chief Nto to withdraw immediately from the race “and embrace Orji Uzor Kalu”,the groups said the Zone could not afford to lose a ranking and impactful Senator like the former Abia Governor at the 11th Senate.
