Gov Alia congratulates Tinubu, All Winners of APC Primaries, Says Victory Well Deserved

Benue State Governor, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia, has congratulated President Bola Tinubu, for emerging once again, the flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 general elections describing the victory as well-deserved.

Alia stated this in a statement signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Tersoo Kula and made available to newsmen in Makurdi on Sunday.

He equally extended warm congratulations to all those who emerged victorious as APC candidates and flagbearers across the country at the primary elections conducted by the party.

He stated that their emergence is a reflection of the confidence reposed in them by party faithful and stakeholders.

Governor Alia particularly appreciated the National Working Committee (NWC), of the APC led by Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda for providing the needed purposeful leadership, ensuring a peaceful atmosphere, and organizing transparent and successful primaries across the federation.

He emphasized that the smooth conduct of the exercise clearly demonstrates the growing strength, internal democracy, and unity within the APC family.

He expressed confidence that the APC will continue to wax stronger and remain committed to delivering purposeful leadership, good governance, and sustainable development to Nigerians.

He wished all the party’s candidates success as they prepare for the 2027 General Elections.
