APC legislative aides kick off nationwide mobilisation for Tinubu’s 2027 re-election.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) National Assembly Legislative Aides Support Group (ANALAG) has begun nationwide mobilisation for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu and the return of APC lawmakers in the 2027 general elections.

Speaking on Wednesday in Abuja, the National Coordinator of the group, Amb. Ayoola Ronke Fakunle, said ANALAG plans to mobilise at least one million supporters in each of the 36 states. She explained that the group, made up of legislative aides and supporters of National Assembly members, is committed to strengthening grassroots support for both the president and APC legislators.
Fakunle said the group’s decision was based on what it described as the achievements of the Tinubu administration and the performance of APC lawmakers. She commended the president for taking bold steps to address long-standing economic challenges, including the removal of fuel subsidy, while urging the government to expand support for education, healthcare and young graduates to ease the impact of ongoing economic reforms. She added that the group already has coordinators in all 36 states and will begin nationwide grassroots mobilisation after its Abuja activities.
Also speaking, ANALAG National Secretary, Barr. Mike Anibueze, said the launch marked the beginning of the group’s nationwide mobilisation campaign in support of President Tinubu and APC lawmakers. He said the organisation would leverage its grassroots network to rally support while calling on the government to sustain efforts in education, healthcare and other sectors that directly affect citizens’ welfare.
A member of the group from the South-East, William Onyemaechi, said legislative aides are well positioned to mobilise support because of their close relationship with constituents. He urged Nigerians, especially youths, to support the administration, citing policies such as fuel subsidy removal and efforts toward local government autonomy, while noting that the benefits of the reforms may take time to materialise. Similarly, Hajiya Halimat Akokhia expressed confidence in the Tinubu administration, saying members of the group were ready to mobilise voters for the president’s re-election in 2027.
