BREAKING: House of Reps Releases Certified Copies of Four Tax Acts Amid Authenticity Concerns

The House of Representatives, under the leadership of Speaker Abbas Tajudeen, has made public the certified true copies of four tax reform Acts recently signed into law by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, following concerns over the circulation of unauthorised versions.
The Acts released are:
Nigeria Tax Act, 2025
Nigeria Tax Administration Act, 2025
Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Act, 2025
Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Act, 2025
Speaker Abbas reaffirmed the National Assembly’s commitment to transparency, due process, and the integrity of the legislative process, assuring Nigerians that the officially released documents represent the authentic versions of the laws.
In a press statement issued by the Spokesman of the House of Representatives, Rep. Akintunde Rotimi, the public was urged to ignore any unauthorised or unofficial copies in circulation, noting that the certified true copies are available through the National Assembly.
