The African Democratic Congress (ADC) has inaugurated its Campaign and Party Office in Kwali Area Council of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and formally received more than 2,000 new members who decamped to the party.

Speaking at the event in Kwali, the immediate past National Organizing Secretary of the ADC, Alhaji Ibrahim Suleiman, cautioned voters against money politics in the forthcoming FCT Area Council elections.

Alhaji Suleiman, who also served as Chairman of the Electoral Committee during the ADC Chairmanship Primary Election in Kwali, commended the decampees for their confidence in the party. He called for collective support for ADC’s Chairmanship and Councilorship candidates in the 2026 elections, assuring that the party would deliver the dividends of democracy to the people if elected.

In her remarks, the ADC Deputy Chairperson in the FCT, Mrs. Martha Etsu, said the commissioning of the party office would ease campaign activities ahead of the elections. She urged unity among party executives and members to ensure electoral victory at all levels, while pledging that ADC would implement policies to guarantee good governance across Kwali and other councils in the FCT if elected.
