Just in: Flood destroys Another Community in Niger State, Residents Displaced

Fresh flooding has struck the Kpautagi community in the Mokwa area of Niger State, displacing several residents and leaving many homes submerged.

According to a verified video obtained on Saturday, the flooding followed a prolonged and heavy rainfall that began overnight and continued into the early hours of Saturday, June 14.

Residents say the downpour was intense and sustained, resulting in significant disruption across the community. While the full extent of damage and any potential casualties have yet to be confirmed, many families have been forced to leave their homes.

Efforts are ongoing to locate missing persons, as affected individuals begin to assess the impact and seek shelter.
