Pastor Adejola Completes Yagbaland Security Support as Mopamuro Receives Donated Motorcycles

Mopamuro Local Government Area has taken delivery of its share of six security motorcycles donated by Pastor Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, marking the final phase of his ongoing security support initiative across Yagbaland.

The presentation ceremony, earlier postponed from last week, took place on Monday at the palace of the Elulu of Mopa and Chairman of the Mopamuro Traditional Council, HRM Oba Muyiwa Ibeun.

Receiving the motorcycles on behalf of the council, Oba Ibeun praised Pastor Adejola Founder of the GB IRORUN Foundation and House of Representatives aspirant for Yagba Federal Constituency—for what he described as a “deliberate and impactful investment in grassroots security.”

“These motorcycles will go a long way in improving patrol coverage and supporting our local vigilance teams, especially in hard-to-reach communities,” he said.

The Alamuro of Amuro, HRM Oba Alfred Modupe Aiyedogbon, also lauded the gesture, emphasising that the intervention reflects genuine responsiveness to community needs.

“Security challenges demand proactive support. What Pastor Adejola has done is not just a donation; it is an investment in the peace and safety of our land,” he said.

Other dignitaries in attendance included former Acting Governor of Kogi State and Balogun of Mopa, His Excellency Chief Clarence Olafemi; the Balogun of Amuro, Chief Patrick Obajemu; the Oluode of Mopa, Chief Dada Aworo; and the Oluode of Amuro, Chief Joshua Alaiyemola.

Representing Pastor Adejola at the ceremony, Mr. Kayode Adejola said the donation demonstrates the pastor’s unwavering commitment to community safety and the wellbeing of the Yagba people.

The handover concludes the distribution of six Bajaj motorcycles to Yagba West, Yagba East, and Mopamuro local government areas under Pastor Adejola’s security enhancement programme.

Traditional rulers and community leaders expressed deep appreciation and offered prayers for the donor, pledging to deploy the motorcycles effectively for patrol operations and protection of lives and property.
