President Tinubu solicits Religious Organizations support in Nation Building
President Bola Tinubu has called on religious organizations not to relent in complementing the Federal Government’s efforts at making life more meaningful to the citizens.
President Bola Tinubu who made the call at the opening of the Methodist 42nd Council of Bishops Conference holding at the Methodist Cathedral of Unity Wuse Abuja said the Government would continue to appreciate the role of the church in Nation building .
Represented by the Secretary to the Government of the Federation Senator George Akume, President Bola Tinubu maintained that Most of the credible Leaders ever produced in the country including Chief Nnamidi Azikiwe, Obafemi Awolowo and others were the products of Methodist Schools

President Bola Tinubu also pointed out that the Methodist Wesley Guild Hospitals across the country have provided effective medical treatment for Nigerians.
According to him, the country will continue to partner the church and other religious institutions in curbing moral decadence and build patriotism in the citizens.
In his welcome address, Prelate Methodist Church, Nigeria Most Reverend Oliver Ali-Aba passionately appealed to the federal government to urgently take steps in tackling inflation, hunger and insecurity.
According to the Methodist Prelate, no Nation can prosper in the midst of these three challenges.
Most Reverend Oliver Ali-Aba commended the ongoing infrastructure transformation in the federal capital terrory under Minister Nyeson Wike.
He assured that the Church would continue to pray for the country and her leaders at all levels.
Over 100 Methodist Archbishops and Bishops attended the opening session with a Godwiil messages from the President, Christian Association of Nigeria Most Reverend Daniel Okoh, Executive Secretary, Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission, Bishop Stephen Adegbite and other prominent Church leaders across the country.
