Tinubu Mourns With APC Chairman Over Mother’s Death

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has extended his condolences to the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Prof. Nentawe Yilwatda, following the passing of his mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.

Mama Yilwatda died on Sunday morning at the University of Jos Teaching Hospital at the age of 83.

The condolence message was signed by Mr. Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy on Monday in Abuja, President Tinubu described her as “a woman of virtue who lived a life dedicated to faith, service, and the uplifting of her community.”

The President urged Prof. Yilwatda to accept the loss as the will of God and take comfort in the purposeful life his late mother lived. He prayed for the repose of Mama Yilwatda’s soul and asked God to grant the APC Chairman, his family, and all those she left behind the strength to bear the loss.
