The Grand Finale of the 10th Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup, organized by Turkish Airlines—the carrier that flies to more countries than any other—has concluded successfully at the Antalya Gloria Golf Resort from November 17 to 21, with winners emerging and Pakistan’s Adeel Shafqat crowned the 2025 gross champion.
Recognized as the world’s largest and most extensive corporate amateur golf tournament, the event has grown into one of the most prestigious platforms for amateur golfers globally.
Since its inception in 2013, more than 750 tournaments have been staged across 85 countries and 130 destinations, attracting over 60,000 amateur golfers. This year alone, more than 10,000 players competed in over 122 events held in 83 countries.
Shafqat claimed the championship with a score of 151, finishing seven over the course’s par.
In the Gold TAWGC Category, Jose Garcia San Juan of the United Arab Emirates clinched the top spot with 73 Stableford points over two rounds. Algeria’s Seifeddine Zarzour finished second, while Abdul Rehman Qureshi, representing Pakistan, secured third place.
The Silver Category title went to Mexico’s Agustin Valdes Kato, who amassed 78 Stableford points over two rounds. Jordan’s Michael Sharaiha came second, while Wang Fan of China placed third.
Commenting on the tournament in a statement issued to Sun newspaper, Ahmet Harun Baştürk, Turkish Airlines SVP Sales (Region I), said the Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup has grown into a significant platform that strengthens the airline’s global connections beyond sports.
“We are delighted to have brought together thousands of amateur golfers under the same roof this year. The Grand Final in Antalya once again demonstrated how the tournament has evolved into a global brand event over the years.
“As Turkish Airlines, we believe that supporting sports contributes greatly to our international presence and to our vision of connecting cultures. I sincerely congratulate all the competitors and everyone involved in this special event,” he said.
A total of 120 amateur golfers from across the globe competed in this year’s Turkish Airlines World Golf Cup Grand Final, the culmination of what is considered the world’s largest and most extensive corporate amateur golf tournament, hosted in Antalya—one of the world’s premier golfing destinations.
