Abuja Area Mama killed by unknown assailant

A cross-dresser fondly known as ‘Abuja Area’ Mama has been killed by an unknown assailant in the Banex area of Wuse II.

He was reportedly found dead in female clothing, prompting a distress call to the authorities at 7:40am on Thursday.

While confirming the development, the spokesperson of the FCT command, SP Josephine Adeh said preliminary investigations revealed no means of identification was found on the deceased.

According to Josephine, when the victim was found, he was rushed to the Maitama District Hospital, where doctors confirmed him dead.

She said the police is now working to unmask the circumstances surrounding the individual’s death, with a team of detectives drafted to the scene to gather evidence.
