Benue APC Commends Wombo for Supporting Gov. Alia and Tinubu’s 2027 Reelection Agenda

The Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Benue State, Chief Benjamin Omale, has commended the member representing Katsina-Ala/Ukum/Logo Federal Constituency, Rt.

Hon. Prince Solomon Wombo, for his steadfast support for Governor Hyacinth Alia, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, and their 2027 reelection bid.

Speaking with journalists in Makurdi on Friday, Chief Omale said Governor Alia’s leadership is redefining good governance and development in Benue State. He praised Wombo’s commitment to the re-election of both Alia and President Tinubu, emphasizing the importance of sustained support to enable them consolidate on their developmental achievements.

The APC chairman, who paid a courtesy visit to Hon. Wombo at the National Assembly, urged the Benue political class to rally behind President Tinubu’s reform-driven administration, which, he noted, has significantly boosted revenue generation for states nationwide. He also lauded Governor Alia for his visible legacy projects in infrastructure and service delivery across the state.

After the visit, Chief Omale told newsmen that Hon. Wombo has demonstrated outstanding leadership and effective representation within two and a half years in the House of Representatives since his election in 2023. He further applauded Wombo’s consistent support for Governor Alia’s administration, particularly in advancing social and economic development across Benue State.

Chief Omale also praised Governor Alia’s ongoing efforts to reposition the state through infrastructural renewal, including the construction of major roads, flood and erosion control works, improved transportation and haulage systems, better healthcare services, new multi-storey classroom buildings, and prompt payment of salaries and pensions.

According to him, these achievements are a reflection of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s transformational policies, which have complemented Benue’s progress through federal interventions such as the state’s first flyover at the Wurukum axis, the 500-kilometer Phase Two of the Makurdi–Ninth Mile dualization project, and other programs enabled by increased federal revenue allocation.

Chief Omale explained that his visit to the National Assembly was to appreciate Hon. Wombo for his ongoing contributions to the development of the Sankera axis, especially in improving security, governance, and service delivery. He described Wombo as “a man of integrity, wisdom, and divine guidance,” commending his loyalty to the APC leadership and Governor Alia’s administration.

He urged the federal lawmaker to remain focused and undistracted in his dedication to the party’s success and the progress of Benue State.

Looking ahead to the 2027 general elections, Chief Omale expressed confidence that President Tinubu, Governor Alia, and Hon. Wombo will be re-elected, citing their proven performance, goodwill, and commitment to service. He added that President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda would continue to serve as a catalyst for the APC’s sustained electoral success.

In his response, Hon. Solomon Wombo expressed gratitude for the chairman’s visit and commendation, reaffirming his loyalty to the APC leadership. He pledged continued support for Chief Omale’s administration and promised to intensify mobilization efforts for the reelection of President Tinubu and Governor Alia, to ensure the continuation of their transformative work in improving the lives of Nigerians.
