A major component of the programme will be the Nigeria Country Focused Session, where Nigerian project owners are expected to present investment opportunities directly to Chinese capital providers, engineering firms and technology companies.

The discussions will focus on gas monetisation and midstream development, including mini LNG plants, CNG distribution networks, LPG facilities and gas to power projects.

Other areas include modular refining and petrochemicals, upstream asset development, oilfield services, drilling technology, deepwater infrastructure, as well as the development of special economic zones, industrial parks, ports and logistics facilities by subnational governments.

The organisers said private business to business and government to business meetings would be arranged after the country focused session to facilitate direct engagement between matched Nigerian and Chinese counterparts.

They added that follow up activities would include technical due diligence, term sheet development and commercial negotiations aimed at moving viable projects towards execution.
