All Progressives Congress Directs Immediate Swearing-In of All Elected Party Executive Committee Members Nationwide

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has directed the immediate swearing-in of all duly elected executive committee members across the country, reaffirming its commitment to strengthening internal party structures and consolidating grassroots leadership.

The directive, issued by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC), follows the conclusion of congresses held at ward, local government, and state levels.

According to party sources, the move is aimed at ensuring seamless transition, unity, and effective coordination of party activities ahead of upcoming political engagements.

In a statement made available to journalists in Abuja, the party leadership emphasized that all elected officials must be sworn in without delay in accordance with the party’s constitution and established guidelines.

The APC stressed that the process must be transparent, inclusive, and reflective of the democratic principles guiding the party.

The leadership further urged members to set aside differences arising from the congresses and work collectively to advance the party’s vision and programs at all levels.

It noted that the newly sworn-in executives are expected to immediately assume responsibility for mobilization, reconciliation of aggrieved members, and strengthening of party structures within their jurisdictions.

Party stakeholders described the directive as a strategic step toward fostering stability and unity within the ruling party, particularly as preparations gradually begin for future electoral cycles.

The APC reassured its members of its commitment to internal democracy, discipline, and adherence to due process, calling on all elected officials to discharge their duties with integrity and loyalty to the party’s ideals.
