APC: Nwosu Calls for Stronger Grassroots Engagement
By our Correspondent
Former Chief of Staff to the Imo State Government, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu, has urged members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) to strengthen grassroots participation within the party.
Nwosu made the call while revalidating his APC membership in Nkwerre Local Government Area of Imo State.
The revalidation exercise, which took place at Eziama Obaire Ward, is part of the party’s ongoing electronic registration programme aimed at updating membership data and enhancing internal coordination.

Addressing party members during the exercise, Nwosu described the revalidation process as a deliberate effort to deepen internal democracy and ensure that party structures remain vibrant, inclusive, and functional.
He encouraged residents of the area, especially youths, to seize the opportunity presented by the registration exercise to actively engage in political activities at all levels.
The former governorship candidate also dismissed speculations about a possible defection, reaffirming his unwavering loyalty to the APC and its core principles.
Party leaders and community stakeholders present at the event observed that the exercise signifies renewed mobilisation efforts as the party prepares for future political activities in the state.
