At The Risk Of One Pin

It was a great sight a day ago when Dr. Kwankwaso took that historic decision.Kano was agog, the crowd very mammoth and joy of his political allies and foot soldiers very impressive.

Apart from Rabiu Kwankwaso who was defecting to ADC, one man became the cynosure of all eyes, the Knight in a shining amour.

His presence nearly caused a stampede, everyone wanted a feel of him, like that woman with an issue of blood in the bible, they fell on top of themselves, struggling to touch the tip of his garment.

It wasn’t a display of a rented crowd, not the normal show of crowd shallow rooted emotinal display. It was organic, a pure and unadulterated display of organic love , trust and credulity on his person.

If you have not watched the video clips of Rabiu Kwankwaso defection to ADC, find time to watch it. It wasn’t just a defection.It was a deep message that would in the coming months shape the political space of this country.

ADC just like Labour Party in 2023 is the toast of the moment. The bride everyone is toasting and wooing. The bride every political bridegroom wants to have around.

Before we get it twisted and get carried away by the sudden beauty, visibility, influence and acceptability of ADC by many fine and seasoned political masters, its thriving or deflation would be determined by one pin.

ADC without mincing word can either get flattened in seconds or ballooned the more in visibility, all at the instance of that pin.

The exit of that man from ADC would be the pin that would give this beautiful balloon a shameful deflation.

In 2023 labour party was in same mould and shoe which ADC was months ago. He stepped in , within a twinkle, labour became a destination point for any politician that desires breakthrough. Many who experienced years of political drought experienced instant miracles politically.

ADC would only replicate such a magical feat of labour party in 2027 if the Knight in shining amour doesn’t puncture the balloon with the pin of his exit.

Only a Presidential ticket to fly the party’ flag in 2027 would save the party from instant and abysmal deflation. This is the gospel truth, treat it with levity at your own peril.
