Baptist Girls Auxiliary Holds Annual Camp In Gwagwalada Abuja As Clergyman Tasks Them On Good Conduct

Girls Auxiliary, G A in Baptist Churches under Amazing Grace Baptist Association, AGBA, today converged on Emmanuel Baptist Church, Gwagwalada Abuja for their Annual Camp.

This year’s camp with the theme “Glory in Godliness and Grace” is to remind young girls in Baptist family on the need to draw closer to God even as they prepare for the task ahead physically and spiritually.

In his message, the Camp Pastor, Dr. Adeyemi Adewuyi admonished parents to always ensure proper upbringing of their girl child.

Taking his text from the book of Acts chapter 9 verse 39 – 41, Rev. Dr. Adeyemi Adewuyi also admonished the GAs to put into practice what they learnt during this year’s Annual Camp to enable them to be good christians and ensure a better tomorrow.

While expressing concern over the attitude of some christian girls, the Clergyman urged them to always be of good conduct wherever they found themselves.

Earlier, the Association’s GA Director, Mrs Ruth Adegboyega said AGBA would continue to embark on programmes that would make Baptist girls to be good ambassadors of their families.

She also enjoined the participants to always observe their quiet time and obey God’s commandments to be successful in life.

Some of the Girls Auxiliary, Wuraola Ayoola, Esther Akinpelu and Damiela Aremu expressed satisfaction over this year’s Annual Camp.

According to them, the lessons of the camp would further make them good christians worthy of emulation.

Highpoints of the Annual Camp were bible study, lecture on personal hygiene among others.
