on

Former Vice President Atiku Abubakar has formally become a member of the African Democratic Congress (ADC).

He completed his registration at Jada Ward 1 in Jada Local Government Area of Adamawa State.

It will be recalled that Atiku resigned from the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in July, following a prolonged internal crisis within the party.

His official entry into the ADC comes after Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, on November 19, announced the commencement of registration and membership validation.

Aregbesola, in a message shared via his social media accounts, noted, “As a demonstration of my commitment, I completed my own symbolic registration at Ward 8, Unit 1, Ifofin, in Ilesa East Local Government Area of Osun State,” while encouraging existing members to validate their membership and new applicants to register.
