ERCC Zion City, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada Hosts Special Service in Honour of Outgoing Pastor

Christian leaders have been advised to always inculcate the spirit of patriotism in their followers towards ensuring national peace and development.


A Cleric, Reverend Peter Aya gave the advice in his sermon during the send-off of the former Minister in charge of Evangelical Reform Church of Christ (ERCC), Zion City, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Job Tsoka.

Reverend Peter Aya noted that the task of repositioning the country requires the collective prayers and support of religious leaders.
While wishing the outgoing Pastor God’s guidance and blessings in his evangelism, Reverend Peter Aya admonished the congregation to give their maximum cooperation to the new Minister in charge of ERCC, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja, towards ensuring the propagation of the gospel.
Earlier, the new Minister in charge of ERCC, Zion City, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Samuel Luka promised to consolidate on the achievements recorded by his predecessor through proper propagation of the gospel in line with the teachings of the Bible.
Reverend Samuel Luka therefore enjoined the congregation to accord the same cooperation and support rendered to Reverend Job Tsoka towards actualizing the mandate of ERCC within and outside the Old Kutunku community of Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT.
On his part, the outgoing Pastor, Reverend Job Tsoka expressed gratitude to the congregation for their support and prayers during his period of service and enjoined them to remain steadfast in faith and prayers towards overcoming challenges in their endeavours.
While wishing ERCC, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja all the best, Reverend Job Tsoka pledged to continue to pray for the Church and its leadership.
In a goodwill message, the Mai Angwar, Keida Phase Two, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Chief Bitrus Mohammed Baba promised the community’s continued support for God’s stewardship to ensure the betterment of society.
Chief Bitrus Mohammed Baba therefore admonished the congregation to continue to pray for the new leadership of the Church to succeed.
Highpoint of the church service was the presentation of gifts to the outgoing Pastor, Reverend Job Tsoka, and special prayers for ERCC, Zion City, Old Kutunku, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
