First Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo Kicks Off

The First Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo has officially kicked off in the nation’s capital showcasing Nigeria’s interior design and furniture industry.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, was declared open by Faisal Jafar Rafindadi, the Project Coordinator, who stated that the expo’s aim to showcase the latest trends, products, and innovations in the industry.
In his opening remarks, Rafindadi emphasized the importance of the expo as a platform for industry professionals, manufacturers, and artisans to connect, network, and explore new opportunities.
He expressed his gratitude to the esteemed guests, exhibitors, and participants for their involvement, noting that their presence underscored the growing significance of the interior design and furniture industry in Nigeria.

“I am honored to declare the First Abuja Interior and Furniture Virtual Expo officially open. This event is a testament to our commitment to promoting growth and excellence in Nigeria’s interior design and furniture industry,” Rafindadi stated.
The event, set to run for two days, promises to engage attendees with leading industry experts, product demonstrations, and innovative solutions that are expected to shape the future of interior design and furniture.

Rafindadi acknowledged the crucial support and collaboration of the Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade, and Investment, which played a vital role in bringing the event to life.
The Director of Contact and Mobilisation, Dr. Kabir Mustapha, delivered the welcome address on behalf of the National Coordinator. Mustapha expressed excitement at the turnout, saying, “We are thrilled to bring together industry leaders, innovators, and enthusiasts from across Nigeria and beyond to showcase the latest trends, products, and services in the interior and furniture sector.”
He noted that the expo aligns with the federal government’s Renewed Hope agenda to support the digital economy through modern technology. As the first of its kind in Nigeria, the virtual event demonstrates a commitment to leveraging technology for growth and development.
He also appreciated the contributions of strategic partners, including the Nigeria Association of Engineering Craftsmen and the Council for the Regulation of Engineering in Nigeria (COREN).
During the two-day event, participants will explore virtual exhibition booths, attend keynote sessions, and participate in interactive workshops. The virtual format allows for wider audience reach and enhanced networking opportunities. However, there are plans to transition to a physical event in the last quarter of the year.
Rafindadi expressed optimism about the future of Nigeria’s interior design and furniture industry, emphasizing the expo’s role in fostering digital partnerships, global connections, and meaningful business collaborations.
