INEC Declares APC’s Joshua Ishaku Winner of Bwari Area Council Chairmanship Election

The Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has announced Joshua Ishaku of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the Bwari Area Council chairmanship election in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Declaring the outcome in Bwari, the Returning Officer, Mohammed Nurudeen, disclosed that Ishaku secured a total of 18,466 votes to emerge victorious over other contestants in the poll.

According to him, the candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) garnered 4,254 votes to place second, while the Zenith Labour Party (ZLP) candidate obtained 3,515 votes to finish third.
