LIFE ISN’T A MYSTERY
Dr jalarth Uche Opara
Life is not a mystery; it is we who often refuse to understand it.Life may not be easy to comprehend, but it is not impossible to demystify.
At times it appears complex and intricate, yet the key to unlocking it lies right before us.
It blossoms like a rose in its glorious and majestic colors, and in that moment we feel we have understood life. Then, in another breath, sorrow and pain arrive, and we begin to think that this too is what life is about.Life blows cold and warm air. At times, it sends hot and scorching winds. It lifts us to heights of exuberance and, just as suddenly, pushes us into the hollowness of disappointment, striking us with the rod of agony. Such is life.
It is never permanent in one state. It rises with joy and happiness and descends into gloomy and painful experiences.
We came into this life even when we did not ask for it. Yet we must face its challenges, pains, disappointments, happiness, glory, and sweetness. That is the only option we have.We are all strangers here—travelers and sojourners.
Heavy baggage is not an option if one must travel light. As much as possible, make your life simple and light, carrying only what is essential, what is needful, and what is godly.
In life, everything is possible; nothing should completely surprise us. Keep an open mind, look unto God, and strive to live rightly at all times. Vanity may seem like the prefix of life and complexity its suffix, but wisdom lies in understanding what truly matters.
Chase fewer things that add nothing to your destination. Do not become overly obsessed with what contributes little to your journey.
Our destination is already marked, with a clear signpost pointing to the inevitability of that final journey. When it will happen is unknown. Any time can be the time. And when that moment comes, suddenly and without warning, the call cannot be delayed.
