Methodist Archbishop tasks men on responsibility

The Archbishop Methodist Cathedral of Unity Abuja Most Reverend Michael Akinwale has appealed to fathers not to allow the present economic situation in the country stop them from carrying out their responsibilities at home .

Addressing the congregation at a service to Mark this year’s Fathering Sunday, Most Reverend Michael Akinwale called on fathers to wake up, Care and make provision for their children.



He attributed the high moral decadence among youths in the country to the inability of some fathers to Care and perform their duties effectively at home.

The Methodist Archbishop stressed the need for Fathers to depend on God to navigate the challenges posed by the economy.

According to him,God’s blessings wiil not locate men until they take full responsibility of their homes

President Men Fellowship, Methodist Cathedral of Unity Wuse, Abuja Mr Emmanuel Okereke said this year’s service was designed to educate men on how to use their time, talent and resources to serve God.

Mr Okereke assured that the Church would assist Men that are facing challenges.

The service featured special prayers for the country
