Nigeria Receives Agréments for New Ambassadors to Key Countries
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed that several countries have processed agreements for Nigeria’s newly nominated ambassadors.
Spokesperson Kimiebi Imomotimi Ebienfa stated that agréments have been received from the United Kingdom, France, the United States, Ireland, Qatar, Benin Republic, Ethiopia/Djibouti, Senegal, Sierra Leone, and other countries.
She added that the date for the Ambassadors’ Induction Ceremony will be announced once finalised and approved by the Presidency.
This move according to analysts clears the way for Nigeria’s diplomats to assume their roles, strengthening the country’s international relations.
