Princess Chinwe Nnabuife, the member representing Orumba North and South Federal Constituency at the National Assembly, has continued to demonstrate strong commitment to the promotion of education through sustained support for indigent students in Anambra State.

The lawmaker has been sponsoring the payment of O’Level and A’Level examination fees for underprivileged students from Orumba North and South, while also facilitating admissions for qualified Orumba youths into various tertiary institutions.
Popularly known as Adaejiejemba, Nnabuife has consistently placed education at the centre of her legislative and constituency interventions.
Speaking while commemorating the 2026 World Education Day, marked on January 24, Nnabuife stated that investment in education is an investment in the youth and the future of society. She stressed that empowering young people through education remains one of the most effective ways to secure long-term development.
World Education Day was proclaimed by the United Nations General Assembly to underscore the vital role of education in fostering peace and sustainable development, while affirming it as a fundamental human right.
The theme for this year, “The Power of Youth in Co-creating Education,” highlights the need to empower young people as active participants in shaping educational systems. Nnabuife emphasized the importance of granting youths meaningful decision-making roles and involving them in policy formulation, implementation, and leadership within the education sector.
She noted that her scholarship schemes and other educational support programmes were designed to reduce barriers faced by disadvantaged students in her constituency. According to her, these initiatives have positively affected many lives by opening doors to quality education for Orumba youths.
Nnabuife also extended her greetings to students and the entire Orumba community on the occasion of World Education Day, reaffirming her unwavering commitment to advancing educational development across the constituency.
Her interventions, she added, align with the United Nations’ call for inclusive, relevant, and future-oriented education systems driven by youth participation. Through sustained investment in education, Nnabuife expressed hope of inspiring others to recognize education as a powerful tool for shaping the future of Orumba and Nigeria at large.
