‘PLEASE Let My Son BE,’ 2Face’s Mummy begs Edo Lawmaker, Natasha Osawaru

Mrs.Rose Idibia, mother of popular Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, widely known as 2Face, has made a heartfelt plea to Edo State lawmaker Natasha Osawaru, to reconsider her relationship with her son during this trying time.

The emotional video appeal, which gained traction online on Thursday evening, highlights the stress 2Face is experiencing amid ongoing divorce proceedings with his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.

In her message, Mrs. Idibia expressed deep and sincere worry for her son’s well-being.

“Good evening, Nigerians. I’m calling on all mothers to help me beg Natasha to free my son.

“He is not in his right senses right now. Please Natasha, remove the beads from his hand and neck, and let him go.”

The appeal surfaced after a video went viral showing 2Face and Osawaru in a romantic moment, with the singer proposing and presenting her with a ring during a celebration, sparking widespread speculation about their relationship. Just a day before, 2Face confirmed his feelings for Osawaru, stating on social media that she is a wonderful person who is not responsible for the challenges in his marriage to Annie.

Despite the support, 2Face’s mother is worried that the singer’s emotional state is compromised due to the divorce.

Osawaru, a member of the Edo State House of Assembly, was elected in April 2023 and has been the center of public attention since her relationship with 2Face was revealed .
