Reverend Deji Oyelami Urges Christians to Practise Genuine Love for One Another

Christians have been urged to show genuine love to one another as a pathway to building a better society.

The Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami, gave the charge during his sermon at the Church’s Sunday Service.

He noted that blessings flourish where love and harmonious relationships exist among brethren.

Drawing his message from Psalms 133:1–3, Reverend Oyelami emphasized that God is love and that every believer must embrace the spirit of love in their daily activities.

According to the Baptist cleric, no society can advance in an environment filled with rancour, stressing the importance of extending hands of fellowship to neighbours at all times.

He also admonished couples not to allow the devil to undermine their matrimonial love and highlighted the need to raise God-fearing children who will contribute to national development.

Reverend Oyelami further encouraged Nigerians to remain committed to serving God and humanity in order to reposition the nation for greatness.
