Royal Ambassadors of FCT Baptist Conference Commence 10th Annual Camp and Maiden Jamboree in Abuja

The Royal Ambassadors (RA), under the auspices of the Men’s Missionary Union (MMU) of the FCT Baptist Conference, will on Thursday, August 14, 2025, kick off their 10th Annual Camp and inaugural Jamboree in Abuja.

The event, themed “Higher Ground,” will take place at First Baptist Church, along GGSSS Road, Kuje, Abuja.

It will feature a range of activities, including theme exposition, Bible study, quiz competitions, parade displays, sporting events, award presentations, and anniversary celebrations.

The scriptural focus, drawn from Revelation 4:11–12, aims to inspire Royal Ambassadors to strive for higher ground by following God’s commandments and the teachings of Jesus Christ.

Participants will include RA members from Baptist churches across the Federal Capital Territory and Nasarawa State, with the camp scheduled to conclude on Saturday.

In his goodwill message, Reverend Deji Oyelami, Minister in charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, urged attendees to embrace the lessons from the conference and apply them in their daily lives to reach higher spiritual heights. He encouraged Christian youths to be true Ambassadors of Christ in all situations and advised them to avoid actions contrary to the purpose of the gathering.

Rev. Oyelami also called on parents and MMU members within the FCT Baptist Conference to play active roles in ensuring the success of the program.
