Salvation is personal

The above picture is the scene of Pope Leo XIV having a handshake with our beloved President Ahmed Bola Tinubu after his inaugural mass.

Mr. President just like any other Heads of States was properly invited. The invitation of course didn’t cover the office of the President’ son.

He had his moment with the Pope. Then came the son Seyi maybe he thought he was in Nigeria where his father’s influence makes things happen seemlessly for him, sadly he was politely asked to shift one side, for his wedding garment was not recognised.

There are times influence and authority can’t be transferred. There are moments nothing speaks for one except ones pedigree, achievement and influence. There are also situations that however smart and bragadacio one is, halo effect syndrome becomes dimmed and blank.

Nothing would make the righteousness of ones parents pave heavenly ways for one. Salvation is personal, my central and main take away from this hilarious scene besides other ones.
