Zion Weds Simi as Rev. Oyelami Charges Nigerian Couples to Build Godly Homes for a Better Society
The Minister in Charge of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, Abuja, Reverend Deji Oyelami, has urged couples across the country to remain committed to building Godly homes that will contribute to a better society.
Reverend Oyelami gave the charge during the wedding reception of Mr. and Mrs. Zion Ajibade, held at the Auditorium of Christ Academy, Gwagwalada, Abuja.
Describing marriage as an institution established by God, the Baptist cleric advised the newlywed couple to make Jesus Christ the foundation of their home to ensure a successful marital journey.
Reverend Oyelami also rejoiced with the parents of the groom, Engr. and Mrs. Ajibade, praying that God would grant others looking forward to similar celebrations a blessed and successful event.
In their remarks, the groom’s parents, Engr. and Mrs. Aderemi Ajibade, expressed gratitude to God for the success of the ceremony. Engr. Ajibade, who serves as President of the Men Missionary Union (MMU) of First Baptist Church, Gwagwalada, thanked all invited guests for honoring their invitation and wished them safe trips back to their destinations.
Delivering a vote of thanks, the couple, Mr. and Mrs. Zion Ajibade, appreciated God for the grace to be joined in holy matrimony. They also thanked their parents, family members, friends, church members, colleagues, and well-wishers for making their day a memorable one, praying for God’s guidance in their new home.
The wedding reception, attended by relatives, friends, colleagues, and well-wishers of both families, featured musical entertainment, cutting of the wedding cake, presentation of gifts, and other activities.
