2027: NDC urges Opposition, Nigerians’s unity to kick out APC government

Nigeria Democratic Congress(NDC), at the weekend urged Opposition political parties and other Nigerians dissatisfied with the government of the ruling All Progressive Congress to genuinely come together to kick out the government in 2027.

Speaking at the North Central meeting on Saturday, National Vice Chairman of the party, Chief Barnabas Ejisi said the political ambulance is ready to rescue Nigerians.

According to him, it is only when Nigerians come together genuinely realizing the degree of sufferings, economic stagnation, poverty and other hardship afflicted on the people that the fight can be realize.

“I want to urge Nigerians, political gladiators to unite to kick out the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC)- led government in Nigeria in the forthcoming general elections”.

According to Ejisi, NDC has position itself to the rescue of Nigerians who have been suffocated and drowned by the ruling party and gives them a better life.

“Our national leader, Seriake Dickson, is not only a leader, but he’s also a visionary leader; he saw the future, saw the degree of affliction, what is ahead of Nigerians and decided to bring in the party at the right time to deliver Nigerians”.

The NFC National Vice Chairman, said the defection of Peter Obi and Rabiu Musa-Kwankwaso has not only brought value and dignity to the party, but come to join forces with the progressive Nigerians to salvage and rescue the country from total collapse.

“If you know what Kwankwaso and Peter Obi stand for, and what they did as governors, the records of these two gladiators as governors are unequal.

“Nigerians need people who will serve them genuinely not those desirous of exploitation. NDC is about service. This is why our slogan is not power, it is service,” he emphasised.

He urged party members to show more interest in contesting for elective positions in the state adding that once the power in the state is strengthened the central government would be forced to act according to the wishes of the people.

“Nasarawa is a great State,
​Nasarawa is on the move and ready, we are going to demonstrate this in the forthcoming bye- election. We are going to participate and take over the senatorial seat in Nasarawa North by the grace of God,” he said.

Also speaking, NDC Chairman, Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Mr Solomon Ndam who spoke on behalf of the north central chairmen, commended the zone for choosing the party.

The crowd at the interactive stakeholders meeting is an indication that the people of North Central have embraced the NDC family.

“This is an indication that North Central have rejected the broom; this is also an indication that North Central have rejected the umbrella.

“The presence of NDC in North Central, means that the storm of hunger, the storm of insecurity in Nigeria especially in the North Central is over by the grace of God.

“The storm of unemployment is over by the grace of God. But we can only overcome this storm , if we all mobilise to vote for the NDC across board, from bottom to top,” Ndam emphasised.

Speaking earlier, Comrade Dogo Shamma, NDC Chairman, Nasarawa State had called on people of Nasarawa State and the entire North Central Zone to join the winning team that stands for justice, equity, and progress.

He assured that the NDC Nasarawa State chapter would present credible candidates for all elective positions, from the State assembly to the Governorship, through a consensus arrangement that prioritises unity to avoid unnecessary friction.

“I urge you all Nigerian to work hard to strengthen the party in your respective states. Nigerians are yearning for credible, people-centred leadership, and that alternative is the Nigeria Democratic Congress.

“We are the only platform with the capacity and commitment to provide real development to the North Central region, tackle insecurity, and reverse the tide of economic backwardness and proffer solutions to our nation’s challenges,” Dogo declared
