UNVEILING THE NATIONAL AGENDA FOR TINUBU 2027 (NAFT.27)

Eminent Nigerians, with volitional individual and collective representations, drawn from the six geopolitical zones, Abuja and the Diaspora, have formally unveiled the National Agenda for Tinubu 2027 (NAFT.

The National Agenda For Tinubu 2027 {NAFT.27} a broad-based, non-ethnic and non-religious national movement and intellectual Property Think-Tank, that is committed to ensuring the support and promotion of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Tinubu’s administration amongst Nigerians as well as mobilizing all elected representatives from the three-tiers of government, towards managing the gains of the electoral successes.

This is in addition to consolidating the cogent and verifiable gains of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s democratic scorecard within the framework of the policy directives of the Renewed Hope Agenda, covering all the Ministries, Departments, Agencies and significant other organs of the Federal Government.

For the sake of clarity and exactitude, NAFT.27, is positioned as a national enlightenment and solidarity platform, designed to deepen public understanding of ongoing reforms, strengthen grassroots engagement, and mobilize nationwide support for continuity of governance at a critical moment in Nigeria’s reform journey, in collaboration other establishment circles of government.

The organization was first announced to the public in May 2025, at a special reception dinner held at the Ladi Kwali Hall of the Abuja Continental Hotel, in honour of the former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress {APC}, Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, a 1976 PhD holder in Public Administration, scholar, bureaucrat, technocrat , consummate development administrator, who also doubles as the Grand Patron of the organization who gave an insight and background ,into what NAFT.27, is Nigeria, in the context of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Presidency.

Speaking to newsmen in Abuja on the unveiling, the National Convener of the Group, Dr. Aliyu Ibrahim MFR said the core -concept of NAFT.27 and its compelling role in shaping the emerging structure of political governance in Nigeria, in terms of new democratic milestones recorded. The National Convener, said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, must be scored high, given the plethora of challenges he inherited in 2023.

According to Dr Aliyu Ibrahim MFR, NAFT.27, as a novel concept in the annals of Nigerian political history, is designed to re-define the person- perception about good governance rating, remove the animated stereotypes and negative social labelling that the voting-electorate, had held over decades, about leadership and political leadership figures, with whom they have a binding social contract.

In his words, NAFT.27, is a move towards building, new pathways of understanding the role of elected representatives in managing the gains of their electoral successes, devoid of the often pathological biases, often expressed by rag-tagged members of the opposition political parties, usually influenced by the conditioned -behavior of “‘mixed-facts and -law'”. 

The National Convener , hinted that NAFT.27, as a well structured civil initiative, begin guided tours of the six geopolitical zones of Nigeria, between now to the start of the next electoral processes to benchmark the administrative performances of all elected representatives, staring with the scorecard of His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR , the State Executive Governors as well as the Local Government Council Chairman elected under the APC.

NAFT.27, he stated, would focus energy on explaining government policies, countering misinformation, and fostering unity around national development goals of the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, All Progressives Congress administration.

According to the group, Nigeria is at a point where policy consistency and reform consolidation, are more important than political resets. The movement notes that, many of the reforms currently underway require time, stability, and public understanding to deliver their full benefits or potential as core dividends of democracy, which are positive returns on electoral investments.

NAFT.27, reaffirms, its confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Vice President Kashim Shettima, GCON, pointing that so far the joint -ticket, had been able to demystify the highly unstructured rather parochial worldviews, hitherto espoused by some ill-informed irredentists and rouble-rousers, who do nothing other stoke embers of ethnic religious, cultural crisis as well as primordial.

NAFT.27, is of the firm belief that given the commitment and instinctual zeal with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR and Vice President, Kashim Shettima, GCON, have been able to provide leadership and progressive achievements in Nigeria, and can’t afford to abandon the lofty and citizen – premised reforms midway, as some uninformed critics from the opposition, allege, in their futile attempt to distract the administration. 

As the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu led Federal Government, continues to seek positive pathways that would ameliorate, and possible down-scale the animated social problems, manifestly expressed by the twin-concept of “‘Rural Poverty & Urban Misery”‘, NAFT.27, by its internal investigations, is pleased to inform the good citizens of Nigeria, that the administration, has been staying the course of bettering the Basic -Needs & Felt-Needs of the rural and urban populace, through its policy options.

For the avoidance of doubt, the sociological concept of the “’Renewed Hope”‘ is a journey, not an event. 

NAFT.27, exists to ensure that Nigeria, does not abandon the road halfway,” hence, all well-meaning Nigerians, are passionately urged to understand, appreciate and identify with the positive aspirations of the urbane man of all seasons, known nationally and internationally as the President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.

As we move towards the last lap of this administration, the National Agenda For Tinubu 2027, {NAFT.27} would want to use the instance of this medium to appeal to all citizens, members of the youth sub-populations to be patient with the administration as the positive effects of the Federal Government policies that align with the Renewed Hope Agenda Policy Directives, would have yielded the desired results, bringing positive returns of a progressive society.
