By Iyojo Ameh
An aspirant for the House of Representatives under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Babagbemi Joseph Adejola, has pledged to champion people-centered legislation if elected to represent Yagba Federal Constituency at the National Assembly.
Adejola made the pledge in a statement made available to journalists on Tuesday, noting that his aspiration is driven by a desire to promote laws that address the real needs of the people and accelerate development across the constituency.
According to him, his legislative focus would include initiatives aimed at strengthening agriculture, empowering young people, and improving rural infrastructure in communities across Yagba.
“My mission is simple. I want to pursue legislation that is rooted in the needs of our people—laws that will support agriculture, empower our youths, improve rural infrastructure and ensure that government policies reach even the last person amongst us in practical ways,” he said.
The APC aspirant emphasised that the vision for development in the constituency cannot be achieved by a single individual, calling on residents of Yagba to contribute ideas and actively support the initiative.
He urged sons and daughters of the constituency to work together in shaping policies and programmes that will drive growth and improve the welfare of the people.
“But this mission cannot be achieved by one person alone. It requires the support, ideas and participation of every son and daughter of Yagba Federal Constituency. I am inviting you to walk this journey with me,” Adejola added.
He expressed optimism that unity and collective commitment among stakeholders would bring about meaningful and lasting transformation in the constituency.
Adejola further stressed that his ambition should be seen as a shared mission focused on advancing the development and welfare of the people of Yagba Federal Constituency.
